Extreme digital manipulation! Meaning, I scanned the cel and background separately, then superimposed Hiei on there. Both are oversized, the cel itself being a large diamond vertical pan, the background larger every which way. This is a 1end two layer cel, from Hiei's fight with Bui. Originally his feet and lower body were surrounded in an 'aura,' but they fade into the background we see here as the camera moved to his head. I like the unique chains he's using on his bandaged arm ^^

I bought this cel from one store, then was lucky enough to find the genga set to match at a later point! See part of it animated here. It would be nice to have more YYH genga but in truth, I haven't looked very hard. Not scanned: Layouts, effects genga.

I went through a binge of buying cheap Hiei cels, for who wouldn't if such things existed? This cel is from Hiei's fight with Mukuro.

My freaky Jagan cel. Triple layered end cel with lots of multilayer fogging (edited out of the clear areas for this scan). Once again, one of my first Hiei's. In this scene, they are about to enter the portal into the Makai.

Hiei douga from episode 88. I've always wanted a nice cel of him in this outfit, but for now will make do with this A1end douga. This scene takes place within Itsuki's alternate dimension.

Key A1 backlit cel from Hiei's fight against Shigure, the man who gave him the Jagan. Chibi Hiei was so cute in those flashbacks... and so deadly... and he was a biter!

Hiei yelling to Kurama during their fight with Ichigaki's robot. Hard to find outfit with the red sash, this cel is much taller than the scan makes out.
