Maya and Zbrush model. Used Maya for the base mesh, ZBrush 3.1 for sculpting. Based on Data from Star Trek, CGTalk challenge entry. 4 weeks from base to current state (images of process below). Work in progress thread can be located at this link.

XSI, Maya and Zbrush model. Used XSI for the base mesh, rigged and posed with Maya 2008, ZBrush 3.1 for sculpting. Original concept, competition entry. 3 weeks from concept to current state (images of process below - rig, 10k tri base mesh, normal mapped 120k tri model)






2007 VFS Demo Reel  download

This reel was completed within my last six months in the Vancouver Film School year-long 3D animation and visual effects program. Software used: Softimage XSI, Adobe Photoshop, Mudbox, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects.

About me: I was born and raised in Southeast Asia. After extensive travel in Asia and Europe I immigrated to Canada where I currently reside on the west coast. My educational background is in archaeology/anthropology, the fine arts and modeling/animation. I have an avid interest in video games, foreign languages and science fiction, and am currently in the market for modeling/texturing employment.
